C70 still looks stylish either as a coupe or a convertible. It seats four adults but the cabin is a bit dull. Safe and comfortable, it's really a cruiser despite some powerful engines.

Straße Test
C70 has been around for a long time now, but provided buyers are aware of its limitations, they should appreciate that it's a good value, spacious and comfortable car that's almost a grand tourer. What is not old-fashioned is the safety angle, because this is one of the safest open cars on the market. For the money you get a respected badge and a classically attractive body that will look good for years to come. Standard equipment levels are good, but probably the best thing about the C70 is that it will genuinely take four adults without them feeling the pinch too much, although the convertible's folding roof does eat into boot space. It has soft suspension to keep it cruising comfortably, although it will corner quite fast without losing composure. The engine options range from sluggish to sensationally quick; most buyers would be content with a middle-ranking 2.4.
